I want to use this space to share information about my husband's IGOE ancestors for my children - and anyone else who might be interested in an IGOE (or IGO) they might have known.

The first person I want to learn more about is Helen Igoe.  She owned a women's clothing store in Seattle, Washington from 1914 to about 1950.  I have quite a bit of scattered information, but will be gathering it up and sharing it as I get organized - stay tuned!

  1. Hi Ann, I am Ann too (Lamb). I was born in Seattle and live in the are and was visited Sunday by my 2nd cousin once removed & his dtr (3rd cousin), from Portland. They were on their way to donate to MOHAI a lovely dress which they had inherited from their aunt Helen Igoe and has been worn to special events by many family members. It is amazingly un- "dated". I took a picture.

e talked genealogy and shared pictures and I have put a bunch of them on my Ancestry.com tree along with a bunch of articles I have found on here. Only a few because they are many. She was News in Seattle for 40 years. The latest article which I found on Heritage Quest Books is very detailed. There are also 1024 itemns on her in Genealogybank.com. Many are ads, of course. I have been working on those Belle Creek folks for more than 20 years, so take a look at my Moloney tree on Ancestry and you'll find lots of Igoes and Maginnises. I am looking for some strays, so let's keep in touch.

I just checked my address book and I think I still have your email address from some past communications.
